Studies have been conducted at many institutions showing that stress affects our well-being on all levels…physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. As far back as May, 1991, stress was recognized as a workplace hazard. At that time “75 to 90 percent of all visits to primary care physicians result from stress related disorders.” Stress affects the bottom line in even more ways since the volume of stress has increased since 1991 resulting in more employee turnover, unscheduled absenteeism and a lack of pride in the work being done…not to mention the ever present FEAR of the instability of our work environment.

How does it work?
- First, a dialogue to begin an assessment of the environment to determine the best implementation process.
- Second, an experience of the Quiet Miracles API Process by several individuals within the organization so they might determine the value for themselves.
- Next, coordinate with Human Resources to establish a training schedule for all within the organization at the foundational level.
- Establish a CORE group to monitor and continue to apply the process as part of orientation for new hires.
- Establish a review process as part of employee review.
It is important to address personal responsibility and corporate responsibility and how the conscious collaboration between the two will create a third point of synthesis…a more promising outcome for both.
